Results from INVESIL Antimicrobial Coating
Staphylococcus aureus is a Gram-positive, round-shaped bacterium. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium. Third party testing suggested 99.99% protection against pathogens through our INVESIL coating.
Conductivity Measurement

Conductivity Testing of FLORYL Coatings
Conductivity testing was done as per ASTM E1004 over coated aluminum 2024 panels. No change in conductivity was observed on the coated and uncoated portions. This suggested that FLORYL does not affect the conductivity of the metal surface.
Thermal Analysis

Thermal Analysis of FLORYL Coatings
The thermogravimetirc analysis was conducted in inert atmosphere on solid FLORYL coating. A thigh thermal stability was found in the material with exceptionally large residual content.
Electrochemical Tests

Electrochemical Corrosion Testing on FLORYL Coating
The electrochemical polarization (anodic and cathodic) and impedance testing in 3.15% NaCl at ambient (20°C) temperature. The 2×2 inch aluminum -2024 panels were coated and compared with uncoated panels. The presence of the coating has significantly reduced the current density throughout the test potential range of ±600 mV of open circuit. The data indicates that the coating is acting as a barrier to slow the diffusion of reactants to the metal surface. In general, coatings are considered protective when their low frequency (≤0.1 Hz) impedance values are equal to or greater than 1 x E6 ohms.cm^2, higher values indicating better protection. The coated samples in electrochemical impedance analysis test exhibited impedance values as high as 1 xE9 ohms.cm^2. These tests indicate that the protective property of the coating is significant.
Corrosion Testing

Corrosion Testing on FLORYL Coated Metals
The uncoated and coated aluminum panels were tested in accelerated corrosion test chamber as per ASTM B117 and GM 9540P standards for 6 weeks (i.e., 1008 h). The FLORYL coated aluminum panels did not show any sign of corrosion until 336 h. A little surface roughness was observed on coated aluminum after 1008 h. Coating effectively protected aluminum alloys.
AFM Image

Atomic Force Microscopic Image of AVIRAL Coating
A polished silicon wafer was coated with AVIRAL coating and dried in ambient conditions. The coated surface was scanned with Atomic Force Microscopy in tapping mode. Significantly smooth surface with surface roughness in sub-nanometer regime was observed under the microscope. This demonstrate that AVIRAL could deeply penetrate and bind with individual grains of the substrate.
NAVY Report- AVIRAL

NAVY Report on Self-Cleaning AVIRAL Coating
The AVIRAL coatings provided significantly greater reduction (exceeding 200%) in retention for all targets considered under the study than either the oiled or fluoropolymer treated surfaces. The AVIRAL coating produces little to no change in the appearance of the coated coupons.
